8-year-old Liané Jacobs was laid to rest yesterday, 11 March 2019, after several years of health complications.
This strong and inspiring young girl grabbed thousands of Klerksdorpians’ hearts, as well as those of South Africans all over the country when her story was told in media platforms all over the Country.
Liané passed away after several months in and out of hospitals and clinics after her health deteriorated severely due to kidney failure.
She was buried out of the PPK Life Centre where hundreds of mourners came together to celebrate her remarkable fighting spirit and say their final goodbyes.
Her former school, La Hoff Primary,will also hold a special memorial event on Wednesday, 13 March, to give teachers and classmates the chance to say their goodbyes.
Liane is survived by her parents, grandparents and younger sister Dané.
