Hartebeesfontein – A 45-year-old man was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment following the murder of Joseph Jeso Seitlholo (44) which happened at Tigane Township on the 29th Sept 2018 at 20:00.
It is alleged Seitlholo and Mogorosi were at a tavern when an argument ensued between them, the victim left and went home and that is when the accused, Kabelo John Thila Mogorosi, followed him until Kgauwe street where he stabbed him in the chest with a sharp object. Seitlholo fell down and was rushed to the clinic by bystanders, but was declared dead on arrival.
Mogorosi fled the scene after the incident and a thorough investigation led to his arrest the following day at Hartebeesfontein. He made his first appearance before the Hartebeesfontein court where the investigator, Detective Constable Buti Matlhoko, succeeded in opposing his bail. He was remanded in custody until he made his final appearance on the 12th Sept 2019, where he was sentenced and declared unfit to possess a firearm l.t article 103 of act 60 of 2000.
