Two suspects are being sought for a business robbery at Nedbank in Klerksdorp on Wednesday 11 April.
Provincial police spokesperson, Lt Col Pelonomi Makau says two men entered Nedbank in Anderson Street dressed in the uniforms of a well-known security cash-in- Transit Company.
Posing as security guards, the suspects collected an undisclosed amount of cash and drove off in a privately owned vehicle. It was soon discovered that the men were not employed by the security company and that the bank was robbed of a huge amount of cash.
Spokesperson Captain Tlangelani Rikhotso has confirmed to Klerksdorp News Online that the Hawks received the dossier to investigate the business robbery. Ltd Col Makau says no-one was injured and no arrests have been made. Investigations continue.
