Potchefstroom: On Wednesday, 8 August 2018, Frans Dlamini (35), appeared in the Stilfontein Magistrates’ Court for burglary, theft and possession of suspected stolen goods.
The accused’s court appearance came after the police who acted on a tip-off, arrested him on the street at Khuma Township on Monday, 6 August 2018 and recovered suspected stolen goods.
It is alleged that subsequent to the arrest and further investigation, Dlamini was linked with burglary that was allegedly committed on Sunday, 5 August 2018 at Stilfontein where televisions, cameras and bank cards were stolen. He was also linked to separate cases of buglary, attempted rape and attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody until Monday, 10 September 2018. Investigation into the matter continues.
